Lani Dimaano
Owner and director
Lani runs Muffin in Airway Heights. She speaks Tagalog and English with families, answers the phone and greets the children at the door when the center opens at 5:30 am.
Lani opened Muffin after watching friends on the West Plains juggle a hospital shift, a warehouse shift and a toddler with nowhere to leave them before sunrise. She started with four rooms so a child would know every teacher by the time they moved up.
What she does at the center
- Care for children 6 weeks to 5 years
- Hours that follow a shift worker's day
- Tagalog and English with families
License and training
DCYF child care center license
CPR and first aid

Why we open at 5:30
Many families here start work before the sun is up, and others finish late. Muffin opens at 5:30 am and closes at 6:30 pm so both ends of the day are covered.
If your week is different, call Lani and work out together which room and which schedule fit.
