Family policies
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
We ask that your child stay home with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or a rash we don't recognize, and come back after a full day without symptoms. If your child gets sick here, we call you right away so someone can come.
Drop-off and pickup
A teacher hands each child over at the room door or the yard gate. We release a child only to the people you list in writing, and we ask for ID from anyone we don't know.
Late pickup
If you're going to be late, call us. If pickup runs past closing time, we talk it over with you in person; the rule is in writing at enrollment.
Meals, snacks and allergies
The center serves breakfast, lunch and a snack. Tell us about any allergy at the tour; once you enroll, we ask again in private. Families of babies bring bottles and formula.
Naps and safe sleep
Infants sleep on their backs, in their own crib, with nothing else in the crib. Twos, Threes and Fours rest on their own cot, at the time each room needs.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close on the holidays we give you in writing at enrollment. If we have to close for snow or any other reason, we tell you by text message as early as we can.
Leaving the program
We ask for two weeks' notice, by message or in person, before your child leaves the center.
